The Board of Directors of Strong to Serve, Inc. is responsible for governing, directing, and overseeing the management and affairs of the organization. The Board of Directors has adopted corporate governance principles and bylaws, which it regularly reviews to ensure the continued fulfillment of Strong to Serve, Inc.’s mission and vision.

Virgilio Morales, Board Director, Bylaws Officer, is directly responsible for the bylaws and other regulatory requirements of the organization. Virgilio is a founding director of the organization. He recently graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, where he earned a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering. Virgilio currently serves as an officer in the Nicaraguan Army. Virgilio’s favorite sport is soccer, and he is also a half-marathon runner.

Kristhian Garcia, Board Director, Chief Information Officer & Chief Marketing Officer, is responsible for the Information Technology and Marketing departments of Strong to Serve, Inc. Kristhian is a founding director of the organization. He currently resides in Toronto, Canada, where he works as Director of Sales and Service for Tangerine Bank. Kristhian has worked in the public sector of Nicaragua, where he designed and led high-impact social projects. He holds an M.P.A. from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business at New York University. His hobbies include biking and traveling

XinNing Gao, Board Director, Chief Financial Officer, directly oversees the finances of Strong to Serve, Inc. XinNing joined the Board of Directors in Oct 2010. Currently, she lives in Burlington, Massachusetts and works as a Senior Internal Auditor for ThermoFisher Scientific in the Boston area. In the past, she worked for several multinational corporations in the financial compliance and analysis functions. She holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Maine and an M.B.A. from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University. She is also a licensed C.P.A. in the State of Massachusetts. She is an avid long distance runner, and her favorite running event is half-marathons. She also likes traveling.

Jose Garcia, Chairman of Board of Directors, CEO & Founder, is responsible for the overall affairs of Strong to Serve, Inc. His duties include providing strategic direction, managerial oversight, and public exposure for the organization. Jose’s passion for orphans and athletics led him to create the mission and vision of Strong to Serve, Inc. He currently lives in St. Louis, MO, where he works as President for Alberici Global Automotive Constructors. Jose holds an M.B.A. from the MIT Sloan School of Management, a Master of Science degree in Construction Engineering Management from Stanford University, and a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. Jose is an avid long-distance runner, and his favorite events are half-marathons and marathons.
